{"id":358,"date":"2013-03-16T22:26:36","date_gmt":"2013-03-16T22:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uncharted-worlds.org\/blog\/?p=358"},"modified":"2013-04-19T13:36:55","modified_gmt":"2013-04-19T13:36:55","slug":"older-bisexual-lives-seminar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uncharted-worlds.org\/blog\/2013\/03\/older-bisexual-lives-seminar\/","title":{"rendered":"Older Bisexual Lives seminar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"intro\">Event details for a seminar on 24 April 2013 at Nottingham University.<\/p>\n<p><lj-cut>I&#8217;m going to be playing a little bit of <a title=\"What is Single Bass?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.single-bass.co.uk\/what-is-single-bass\">music<\/a> at the Older Bisexual Lives seminar in April, so I thought I&#8217;d write it up here.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe day is <strong>free<\/strong> and there are a limited number of <strong>travel bursaries<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nIt&#8217;s aimed at academics, policy-makers, service providers, third-sector organisations, <strong>LGBT activists and advocacy groups<\/strong> and <strong>older LGBT people themselves<\/strong>.\u00a0 (bolded by me to emphasise some of the people who might end up reading this!)\n<\/p>\n<p>\nAdditional note:  I didn&#8217;t twig this at first, but there&#8217;s a <strong>deadline for registration<\/strong> of <strong>Friday 22 March<\/strong>.  It may be extended, but to be on the safe side, best to at least get in touch before then.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nAt the time of writing, I&#8217;ve seen the timetable only on a PDF file, and access info is yet to come too. There will be six in all, each on an under-researched theme related to older LGBT people, and this is the first.
