{"id":1980,"date":"2021-06-02T19:35:14","date_gmt":"2021-06-02T19:35:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uncharted-worlds.org\/blog\/?p=1980"},"modified":"2021-06-03T21:35:18","modified_gmt":"2021-06-03T21:35:18","slug":"bi-research-surveys-and-events-june-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uncharted-worlds.org\/blog\/2021\/06\/bi-research-surveys-and-events-june-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Bi research surveys and events, June 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This post is especially aimed at people who run a bi group\/ event\/ resource in the UK &#8211; but anyone else is welcome to read it too :-)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>From Jennifer, Libby &amp; John, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uncharted-worlds.org\/blog\/2021\/05\/bi-funding-research-news\/\">Bi Funding Research team<\/a><\/p>\n<p>and Laura, Michael, Lizzie &amp; Tash, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consortium.lgbt\/nationallgbtpartnership\/\">Bi Health Research team<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>We are two teams currently being paid by the LGBT Consortium for short research projects to benefit UK bi communities &#8211; one about <strong>health<\/strong>, one about <strong>funding<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Both teams are doing <strong>surveys<\/strong> and <strong>events<\/strong> in June 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s how you can help!<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"itemizedlist\">\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Please share the short <a href=\"https:\/\/uncharted-worlds.org\/bi\/fundingresearch\/where_do_we_hang_out.htm\">&#8220;<strong>Where do we hang out?<\/strong>&#8221; survey<\/a> via your networks.<\/li>\n<li>Please share the short <a href=\"https:\/\/survey.alchemer.com\/s3\/6339085\/Bi-Health-Research-Survey\">&#8220;<strong>Bi Health Research<\/strong>&#8221; survey<\/a> via your networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Each of those is for <strong>anyone &#8220;under the bi umbrella&#8221;<\/strong>, and should take about 5\u00a0minutes &#8211; maybe 10 if people write extra.<\/p>\n<div class=\"itemizedlist\">\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Bi organisers, please fill in the <a href=\"https:\/\/uncharted-worlds.org\/bi\/fundingresearch\/bi_groups_and_money.htm\">&#8220;Bi groups and money&#8221; survey<\/a>! This can take around 5 to 15 minutes, or more if you go into more detail. As\u00a0part of it, you can tick to express interest in two real-time <strong>discussions<\/strong> about bi projects and <strong>money<\/strong> (inc not having any :-) )\u00a0 [Edited to add:\u00a0 the discussion for groups without bank accounts is likely to be afternoon of Sunday 13 June.\u00a0 You might want to pencil in that date if you&#8217;re interested.]<\/li>\n<li>Bi organisers, if you&#8217;re interested in a <strong>virtual roundtable<\/strong> about <strong>health<\/strong>, please <a href=\"mailto:laura@consortium.lgbt\">email laura@consortium.lgbt<\/a>. This will be for workers and volunteers at bi organisations and groups, on Tuesday 22nd June, 1pm-3pm. It will be a space to share with the team the most frequent health and wellbeing concerns that you encounter from within the bi community.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re interested in any of this research in general, you&#8217;re welcome to eavesdrop or join in on our <strong>online chat<\/strong>, where both teams are available to answer questions.
