"Identity" badge colours

As colours look different from screen to screen, here's somewhat of an attempt to describe them in words as well.

For reference, an approximate impression of all these colours appears on the order form too.

All colours named "neon" are slightly fluorescent, and thus brighter than they probably appear here.

Red Neither scarlet nor crimson but somewhere in between, in the UK this might be known as "Pillar box red".
Neon Orange As orange as an orange, and then some!
Neon Yellow A bright yellow, leaning if anything slightly towards green rather than towards orange.
Neon Green Lime green, practically as bright as the yellow.
Kingfisher Blue A slightly greenish blue. For some reason, this colour seems to be impossible to reproduce accurately on a computer screen - possibly because it has a slight fluorescent component in it too. So it's richer than it appears here, and perhaps a little bit more blue.
Lavender Blue Formerly listed here as "dark sky blue" (meaning the sky at twilight), this is a blue which verges on mauve. Again, difficult to reproduce accurately on-screen. Probably the subtlest colour currently available here - not dull, but quiet.
Vivid Purple Compared to "royal purple", this leans a little towards fuschia, making it easier to read when contrasted against black.
Neon Pink The top seller, a thoroughly "in-your-face" bright pink. How more pink could it possibly be? None more pink!
Metallic Silver A slightly-textured dull-ish silver-coloured paper is used for this, not actual metal. Unlike the other colours, this one comes out with tiny speckles of silver across the black background, only noticeable close-up. It's actually because of the ink not covering the metallic paper perfectly, but looks good anyway if you bother to notice it at all.
Goes with almost any colour of clothes :-)

Please note that colour choices have varied over the years since 1998, so if you're looking to replace a badge you had before, it's possible that the colour you had before won't be here. But in most cases there will be a close looky-likey.
